Bybit has responded swiftly with an attractive bounty program.
Anyone who assists in tracking or recovering the stolen funds will receive up to 10% of the total theft, amounting to a massive $140 million reward.
Additionally, withdrawals remain open for customers, ensuring that users can access their assets without interruptions.
Bybit’s CEO, Ben Zhou, reassured customers that “withdrawals are back to normal” and all pending requests have already been processed.
💰 Funds Already Being Recovered
There’s some positive news—part of the stolen amount has already been reclaimed.
According to Mudit Gupta, Chief Information Security Officer at Polygon, $43M was recovered thanks to the joint efforts of Mantle, SEAL, and the mETH team.
Meanwhile, Tether’s CEO Paolo Ardoino has confirmed freezing 181,000 USDT linked to the hack.
